5000x463 px canvas and 1080p capture input

Hi
I have one big (5000x463px) canvas and would like to show live input from datapath capture card on it, it is 1080p standard DVI/HDMI input, but when i try to show it, it is cropped and streched to fit the canvas, even if I adjust zoom/aspect/ it still shows only part of the input, on a newly created full hd canvas it shows all of the picture.
Anyone nows how to deal with that issue?

switch your aspect mode from Crop to stretch or letterbox...

Hi,

Ruben is right - adjust the aspect mode on the layer. just to confirm, thats channel 79 - use values of 0 for letterbox, 1 for crop and 2 for stretch.

Many thanks for reply, I've already tried the aspect mode, it affects an still image or movie but doesn't affect live input. Any other ideas?

hi

my apologies, you are right! if you edit the patch for the live input and change the size dropdown on the rectangle module to letterbox, it should do what you want. you can either overright the original patch or save it with a new name.
