Ai timeline file replace

Hi
Is it possible to make a timeline with one video file, use it in a show triggered via ArtNet, and then replace just the video file to a new one, without having to create and save the timeline again? I've been trying that on Windows and Mac on Ai 7 and 8 with no luck...
Also is there a way to control Ai on ArtNet on one universe, and have separate Master Volume and Master Brightness channel on a different ArtNet universe.

ive used the "replace a file" trick with the timeline in the past... it works

make sure the new file is in the same place and with the same name. you may need to reimport the timeline for it to work.

any / all of the ArtNet controlled parameters can be reassigned or reallocated however you want.... this can all be done through the artnet layer window and adjusting the channels next to each parameter.

I can controll brigtness from different universe, I did it not in the media layer but by editing artnet map of master brightness in mixer module.
But one still remains unanswered, how to control volume? There is master volume adjust module, but it doesn't affect the volume, maby because I'm playing media with sound on timeline?
Anyone nows how co control master/layer volume in Ai?
