Memory overflow while controlling externally
hi there!
I had some memory overflow problems within Ai controlled externally, such as midi and artnet.
My hardware configuration is a Miami dongle running on a Asus laptop (i7 3630, dual ssd, nvidia gt 650m) that work pretty good and smooth.
Sometimes happens that when I controlling externally (touch osc midi, artnet..) memory (indicated on the top of the Ai interface) start rise over and over again even without mediaclips playing, until reaches 1500mb or so, after that the interface become a white screen and after a minute Ai crashes.
I've tried several projects and several control types, and I can't found a reason that makes memory rise inexorably..
Cpu and ram is never in full load but works around 60 and 40 percent respectively..
it's suspicious that not always this kind of thing happen.
Is it a problem regarding only my hardware configuration?
thanks!

Re: Memory overflow while controlling externally
Hi Stefano
ive just been firing midi at Ai for over an hour and it hasnt impacted the memory use at all. this was with a direct midi connection rather than using TouchOSC.
i can run some tests with TouchOSC, but i wont be able to do it until i get home later as i dont have my android pad with me. my suspicion is that its a leak between TouchOSC and the Touch Bridge application, but i will see what i see when i test it.
