Hello Smile

officially, we do not yet support windows 10.

in practice I have been testing it on windows 10 - I get an error the first time I try to launch ai, but then relaunching a second time works fine.

I/o 32 error is to do with sharing... has the machine been added to a homegroup?

Hi Arran
the machine is as it came out of the box so nothing has been done with homegroups unless win10 has decided to have some fun
cheers

Hello,

I'm still looking into this one, but didn't want you to think id forgotten about it!

as a work around, if you were to copy the distrib folder from another machine, you should be able to just place that on the new laptop and it should work. I can do an upload to wetransfer of the whole folder if that's of help... it will let you use Ai then whilst I try to get to the bottom of this one.

mail me - support@avolitesmedia.com - if youd like a link
