Touchscreen, Windows 7 and Ai
Trying a touchscreen to offer a different control option.
Windows 7
Planar Windows compliant touch (PCT2785)
The corner buttons all work as expected.
The clip select in the roller cue requires three clicks to play a clip.
This appears to be partially caused by Windows viewing these as text boxes. The first click brings up the on screen keyboard
The second click seems to be ignored. The clip takes on the third click.
There is no separate driver for this monitor. When using a mouse at the same time, a single mouse click plays the clip.
Suggestions?
Thank you.

Re: Touchscreen, Windows 7 and Ai
If the first click brings up the on screen keyboard then there is a setting somewhere in the driver or in windows which needs to be changed, because that is happening inside the OS before Ai gets the mouse down message. The second click probably returns the focus to Ai. And then the 3rd clip works as expected. We have our own touch screens in the Sapphire Media product which seem to work pretty well, so I think this must be down to your touch screen or driver. Sorry I don't have any better suggestions!
