Looking for a module Empty Looking for a module

Hi guys,
I am looking at an input module that I could used to get AI to look at a shared file, a graphic file, so an external software could alternate the shared file, and would be displayed at one output of the AI. Does it already exist, or could I make a patch to enable this? Thanks.

Hi guys,

After talking to the peoples in here, it looks like they would like to do an interactive way to do RT drawing, similar to what coolux is doing with there widget thing, we have couple programmers here who would be willing to write an interface, any hint to achieve this? Kind of having the model on a pad and do painting... Kind of...Thanks.

however this is done, it will require some programming - none of the current modules in Ai allow for realtime drawing. i would think GLSL would be a good starting place ( use the gl/glslprogram module) and then run the shader within a patch
