New server build and gpu errors
Hello, I'm having some issues with my built.
I'm running a miami licence on custom built server with this specs:
Operating System
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
CPU
2x Intel Xeon E5 @ 2.10GHz Ivy Bridge-EP/EX
RAM
32.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz
Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-7PESH3
Graphics
2048MB ATI AMD FirePro V7900 (ATI FireGL) (ATI)
2048MB ATI AMD FirePro V7900 (ATI FireGL) (ATI)
Storage
447GB OCZ REVODRIVE350 SCSI Disk Device (SSD)
I have installed the app as sugested. instaled the drivers you provided for the V series AMD graphic cards, from a fresh windows install.
When loading Ai, I'm getting this error messages:
Any idea on this?
Overall performance is average. When using multiple outputs and hd content, frames drop to 6 fps.
Any advices in tunning up the system or the app itself would be appreciated.

Re: New server build and gpu errors
hello,
this error usualy occurs when the displays are in the correct order.
in the windows screen resolution options, make sure they run in order from left to right 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8.

Re: New server build and gpu errors
You actually have 3 GPU's in your system.
2 x V7900
1 x Aspeed 2300 (on board on the motherboard)
We only support the 2 V7900 GPU's. You will need to somehow completely disable the Aspeed 2300 on board GPU, perhaps this can be done in the BIOS?
We have no experience of this Motherboard.
Best regards

Re: New server build and gpu errors
Yes, I do have the integrated gpu active. Drivers are not installed but I'll disable it from bios.
Also, wanted to know:
My build has the system installed on a ocs revodrive350, would it be better to use the revodrive as media only and install windows on separate ssd?
And, how is the stability of the software on windows 8? I get a lot of crashes on windows 7, mostly when I open patches that haven't used previously, or when loading projects.

Re: New server build and gpu errors
Windows 8 is working nicely with Ai. I use it on my personal machine. You should also move to the V8 Beta if you haven't already as it is much better than V7. The official full release of V8 will come out next week too. System drive running with media on it too should not be a problem.
