UAC in Windows 8 / 8.1 / 10 - no need to turn it off!
getting UAC to truly turn off in windows 8 and 10 is not always as easy as it should be - especially in 10 where parts of the OS are disabled when UAC is turned off !!! in Ai, this can prevent you being able to drag and drop assets into the program... but we have found an easy solution!
once you have installed Ai, simply copy the distrib folder and paste it outside of the programs folder - for instance, I am running windows 10 and my location is C:\Distrib
future installers will take account of this

its not working for me. It worked once, and then doesn't let me drag drop again.
