W7000 only connected to S400 and not by CrossfireX
Hi Guys,
Just noticed while cleaning our ai S8 that the W7000 cards are only connected to the S400 for sync but no CrossfireX is attached between those cards, is there an reason for this?
Like to hear your idea about this.
Cheers,
Fabian

hi,
we don't make use of crossfire in Ai, which is why its not connected - for our purposes, the s400 is a better option.

Hey Fabian,
The crossfire option allows you to slave a graphics card to another graphics card. This allows you to do the processing for one card across two or more, however any slave cards have their outputs disabled. So you would lose all the outputs of the second card.
