MIDI Control

We are preparing a tour that will use MIDI control.

Ai 7.1

Infinity Server

MTC is working

MIDI note for media selection is working

What I can't seem to get working is model select via MIDI CC.

I opened up the model select port on a screen

I added a MIDI CC module and took the CC out for CC#21 and attached to Model Select- no luck. Turning the CC knob in the Ai module does change model

I then tried a constant generator.

I right clicked an edited MIDI assignment- still no avail.

Any suggestions for MIDI selection of Screen Model Select?

if i remember correctly, the model select port uses number 1,2,3,ect for model selection rather than a 0 to 1 range.

you could try to use a formula or math module to multiply up the value range ( multiply by 128 )

yep Arran is correct.  you need to multiply the normalised (0..1.0) midi output by 255 using a math or formula module.

All fixed.

Most of the problem was Win 7 MIDI drivers on control machine

Added the Math Multiply and selection works perfect.
