Multiple GPU - Create GLWindow Error

HI there,

Im getting an error on startup of Ai - "CreateGL Window - Displays require multiple GPUS"

i have 2x FirePro w7000 installed and a s400 sync card

i think i answered this one over the phone, but just incase.....

this error is usualy seen when the display order within the windows screen resolution window does not run from left to right 1 to 8.

I put here my question without open a new topic..
If i want to install two matching grafic cards to double the outputs (ati firepro V7900) should I install even a sync cardo (the S400) even if i don't need genlock?
does the system recognize the two video cards? in Ai will I be able to use all the 8 outputs?

in which case i MUST to use the sync card?

the s400 sync card provides syncronisation between multiple cards in the same machine as well as being able to work with external signals. without one you can often experience outputs which are out of sync and refreshing at different times and a reduction in overall performance from your machine. my personal experience is that machines with the sync card tend to work better.

Ai will recognise both of the cards and give you a total of 8 adresable outputs.
