Should autoblend work in demo mode?

Should autoblend work in demo mode? (Nothing happens when configure button is pressed, AB does not fire up in any way shape or form)

My computer conforms to requirements.
I have followed the tutorials which are very straightforward and I am confident that I followed them accurately.

Unfortunately not. The autoblend feature requires a license to work.
