Quad mapping out of a VP
Hello. I have a question. I would like to use a quad mapping module on the output of a VP in Ai.
I don't know how to use it. If I connect it on the output the window is black.
It's working well on the canvas out of an object but I have 2 objets with a VP and I wanna use the Quad Mapping on the output of all. Not just the different screens.
Any idea?

sounds like you need to use a RenderToTexture module, which you can find from right click insert module/gl/RenderToTexture this will convert any yellow port into a green texture port. You will need to specify the resolution at which you wish to do the conversion. I suspect this will need to match the resolution you are going to output to the projector.

OK Sorry about that, try a 'Render Target' instead of 'Render to Texture', heres a picture showing how to wire it up.

Arran, can you explain what the clear module exactly does ?

the clear module clears the buffer so that the next frame can be processed, without it you will notice that the image does not update when using a render target module.
